Dear Applicant,
THE Language Summit will be held on November 7, 2026, in Mersin. Our organization is a meeting point that brings together foreign language educators, particularly English teachers, to encourage the sharing of experiences and to support professional development.
The main objective of THE Language Summit is to ensure that practices implemented in classrooms, schools, or alternative learning environments—which have created a tangible impact and yielded meaningful results for students—are shared among colleagues. We believe that examples tested in the field, which have produced measurable outcomes and are rooted in teacher experience, serve as one of the most powerful sources of inspiration for other educators.
Furthermore, our organization does not merely aim to be a single-day event. Our long-term goal is to build an inclusive, productive, and sustainable professional community that unites foreign language teachers working across different regions of Turkey. In line with this, we aim to establish a strong network through which our participants and workshop leaders can communicate, develop collaborations, and share experiences both during and after the event.
Responsibilities of Workshop Leaders
In the event that their application is accepted, the applicant agrees to fulfill the following responsibilities:
*Submitting all required information regarding the workshop content to the organization team in a timely manner.
*Fully sharing details such as the workshop's objective, target audience, expected learning outcomes, and the minimum and maximum number of participants.
*Notifying the team in advance of the required materials and physical environment needs for the workshop.
*Maintaining regular communication with the organization team.
*Actively participating in the information and coordination groups to be created following acceptance.
*Supporting the promotional activities of the organization.
*Announcing their role as a workshop leader and part of the organization on their social media accounts and appropriate professional networks.
*Sharing promotional photographs, a short biography, and necessary content in the format and standards specified by the organization team on time.
Terms and Conditions of Participation
*For each accepted workshop, the event registration fee for one workshop leader will be covered by the organization.
*A workshop may have a maximum of two leaders.
*The participation conditions for the second workshop leader will be evaluated separately by the organization team.
*Transportation, accommodation, and personal expenses are the sole responsibility of the workshop leaders.
*The organization team does not guarantee the provision of materials to be used in the workshops; however, it will strive to provide support within the limits of its resources.
*The applicant is responsible for reporting any needed materials in advance.
*By submitting the application, the applicant declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions stated above.
